10:00 a.m. Holyoke Farmers Market The Holyoke Farmers Market is one of the oldest farmers markets in the country, marking our 36th season of providing fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers! The market is a great place to enjoy time with family and friends with fun events, such as cooking demonstrations, music, and dance classes, all season long.

11:00 a.m. Free Kids Club activity at Holyoke Mall. Art projects, science experiments, children’s performers and MORE Lower Level near Sears. 50 Holyoke St.

10:00 a.m. Women Making Change: The Women of Holyoke Women Making Change explores individuals and groups of women from Holyoke’s past who helped to shape the City in the 20th Century. Holyoke has a rich history of women workers, organizations, community leaders, businesswomen, educators, and more who contributed to economy, culture, and structure of the City. This exhibit – on view at the City’s annual Celebrate Holyoke event as part of Wistaria HERE – will provide a starting point for the exploration of women’s history in the City by using the Wistariahurst archival collection to scan a range of women who made impacts throughout Holyoke’s history. Visitors will be encouraged to leave stories regarding their own memories of significant women from the Holyoke community and to listen to stories of contemporary Holyoke women produced by Radioplasma.
